THE CHURCH     The Church in this context is not where you go to worship on weekdays and Sundays. I trust you’ve been having a purpose-filled week? God’s been faithful & I prayed for you by the way. The thought of the Church today just makes me weep in my heart- I just can’t explain it, but a lot of us, I mean- a lot, have missed the real deal. Paul writing in one of his epistles in Corinthians said; “we ourselves are letters of recommendation to be read by the world… this ‘letter’ is written not with pen and ink… it is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human heart”. You and I make up the Church which means we are the Church. Without you and I there will be no Church, the place we go to worship is only a building; we are God’s temple meaning we carry Jesus in us and everywhere we step in- Jesus also comes on the scene. REFLECTION

Have you ever had time to interact with a person inundated in sin? There is just one thing you will find out; which is how myopic (short-sighted) their hearts are… they have no clue what life is like on the sin-free zone. I decided to write this today not because my life is a 100 but because there is a need for everyone pressing for that crown of glory to always keep in mind that heaven is real! Jesus is coming soon! My lovely sister Morenike sent me a broadcast today talking about today’s youth and how we claim to love God but clearly put Him aside to do our ‘stuff’ and pick Him up again when we need Him. Jesus is not an option He is a necessity. You literally need God to get by every day, God is love. His rain falls on both the just and the unjust, His arms are open for you to come in anytime, my friend, I find it hard to picture a life without God; there is absolutely no point living. Am sure you must have heard ‘he knows my name’ from Cece Winan’s album, great song I tell you. I have a maker that formed my heart- He knows my name even before time began, amazing! Trouble surrounds us; we have uncertainties, fear is still crippling us, our doubts, pain, hurt, sorrow, disappointment. Welcome to the world I live in, you must have experienced one of those because it is nearly inevitable, it is called life. The good news is Jesus is still lord! Jim Reeves sang ‘this world is not my home’: I tell you that song carries a whole lot of message. Life is full of ups and down but what keeps me going is the fact that I have a home after here. You might find it daunting to think or a bit finical but it’s what it is, you are either on the train going to heaven or you are somewhere else.
