HE KNOWS MY NAME!
Am sure you must have heard ‘he knows my name’ from Cece Winan’s album, great song I tell you. I have a maker that formed my heart- He knows my name even before time began, amazing!
Trouble
surrounds us; we have uncertainties, fear is still crippling us, our doubts,
pain, hurt, sorrow, disappointment. Welcome to the world I live in, you must
have experienced one of those because it is nearly inevitable, it is called
life. The good news is Jesus is still lord!
Jim
Reeves sang ‘this world is not my home’: I tell you that song carries a whole
lot of message. Life is full of ups and down but what keeps me going is the
fact that I have a home after here. You might find it daunting to think or a
bit finical but it’s what it is, you are either on the train going to heaven or
you are somewhere else. The amazing thing about the Christian community is that
we speak one language which is Jesus.
Living
in Naija (Nigeria Creole) is pretty amazing the diversity in culture, the
hospitable families, obstreperous folks, stringent and loving parents and of
course the beautiful and aesthetic young minds. Proudly Nigerian, so just in
case you’re wondering why the accolade? It’s simply because God knows my name
and He knows Nigeria and when He fixed you and I here it was for a great
purpose. If for some reason you are born into opulence its God’s gift
acknowledge that. If you are not so privilege I tell you it’s not a yardstick
to remain in obscurity. So, I propounded this simple theory:
Your coming into existence is
dependent on your parent but whatever you’ll become is independent of your
parent so long as the ground remains neutral and the factors of productivity is
constant- Itofa
So
having a rich dad doesn’t guarantee you a rich future even if the odds don’t
stand against you it’s the principle of nature. On the other hand we have
countless number of people who we celebrate today and have made it really big
that were never born with a silver spoon. Ben Carson is a perfect example. He
is the “gifted hand” raised by a
single mom with a brother. His mom had to run four to five jobs a day to keep
the home running. To cap the story; we all know Carson the Republican who is
running for president of the United States. I follow him on twitter and on face
book and I tell you he’s got a great sense of humor- never met him, don’t plan
to but maybe someday I will - he exudes humility.
Hard work takes you to the top
Character keeps you up there-

He
knows my Name; I am absolutely confident about what I can become because I’ve
got King Jesus on my team you should too. This morning my dad was talking to us
about Jesus and knowing we have him on the inside of us and it drew my mind to
this post I was working on. He said “you might not be rich and have all of the
flamboyant things your peers have but don’t be discourage because you have
something they don’t have- Jesus”
(1Jn4:4) … the spirit who lives in you is greater than
the spirit who lives in the world NLT.
It
changed my whole perspective; if you’ve got Jesus in your life I want you to
know he’s going to make your path shine brighter and brighter unto a perfect
day.
It was
great putting this piece up, kindly share and comment because YOU do count.

Love this Itofa. So amazing that no matter what country, culture or language, we do indeed speak the same language, which is indeed Jesus. He does know our name.
