God’s Wonder

Hello everyone, I hope 2016 is coming on very well? I really want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s checked out all post in the last couple of months on this blog. For those who called in, all the comments, likes and the nice things said, thank you! Jesus is my all and I’m only functioning in his grace… just look out for more on this blog in the year.

Biology is a subject many people scorn. This isn’t biology just in case you’re wondering why there is a picture of the heart up there. So, please hang on and see what Jesus has to say to you.
‘Everything can be seen through the eyes of Jesus’ - Itofa
I can attest to that, be it culture, fashion, lifestyle, food, it can all be seen through the eyes of Jesus. I promise to keep this post simple, God will grant you insight. Let’s begin…
I will drop some basic things about the heart for starters:
Vein:  it takes blood to the heart. The blood here is dark-red.
Artery:  it takes blood away from the heart. The blood here is bright red/pink.
Regurgitation:  this is the back-flow of blood.

The heart on its own is a very vast subject, when this subject came to me; the first thought that crossed my mind was just the amazing architecture of God.
There are 5million red blood cell in one cubic meter on the inside of you, so who takes care of all these microbes? You see; the devil most times doesn’t want us to acknowledge God’s magnanimity, enormity and hand in our lives.
In a survey conducted by United Nation, it is estimated that the World population; reached 7 billion people as of October 2013.
Science puts it that the heart functions as a result of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), but I believe there is a God who keeps us. Every single human among those 7 billion people is loved by God, so what makes you think God has forgotten about you, He knows how many strands of hair came off your head today. Just sit back and enjoy the whole incubation stage and learn what He (God) is teaching.

So you know; you and I are part of the 7 billion people in the world. We pray every day, some of our prayers get answered and others don’t, according to us. But have you ever sat back to wonder who God is and just drown yourself in His amazing love. I know for sure that keeping fit isn’t what is keeping me alive but God is.
The artery and the vein play crucial roles in the heart. One takes blood away from the heart while the other returns it back after it has undergone systemic and pulmonary circulation.
Pulmonary circulation has to do with the blood (impure) going to the lungs to get oxygenated (purified), the systemic circulation doesn’t include purification; it only takes the purified blood and sends it to the systems.
An average human pumps about 5.5 liters of blood every minute, this is magnificent. Also, every human has an average of 72 heart-beats per minute and it increases to a 100 when we get excited. Nobody talks about the great miracle of health we experience everyday when we wake up, it’s all a miracle! The heart works from birth till you draw your last breath, it doesn’t break down and you think that’s not something to be grateful for? Thank you Lord for vitality and a sound mind.
You know the sound the heart makes? It’s called “lub” and “dub” it is gotten from the coronary systole and diastole. The diastole has to do with relaxation of the heart muscle while the systole has to do with constriction but they are all processes of the heart beat.

I hope you’ve been able to see God through the same lens as I did… God’s wonder is indeed beyond words, I am in awe of His greatness, and for me to be loved by such a mighty One still remains inexplicable, all I can say is thank you Lord for everything!
I finally taught a bit of human physiology to my readers (laughs). Thank you for staying through the lecture.
Please don’t forget to drop comments and share, thank you.
