ZOE- the God kind of Life





Life: the time God gives us to determine where we will spend eternity – anonymous.

Life is really dynamic; things never turn out the way we always want, and even if they do, some alteration might have happened. Why will you ask God for a car in 2010 & two years down the line nothing happens, all of a sudden in January 2013 you get a brand new car, why??
I’ve come to understand that God holds the balance of my days and if am going to live a life that will show forth his glory, I’ve got to trust him. You see; the car illustration above shows that God sees our end from the beginning. Most a-times we have misplacement of priorities inadvertently & the very thing we think we need very badly might just be our flesh craving.

Life is just too short for you to live in fear, you should be able to go out take risk and learn.

Life is just too short for you not to express your emotions to those you care about, let them know they count, extend a hand if need be and tolerate all of their nonsense because; someday you’re going to look back and you’d be glad you did.

Life is just too short to be wallowing, grinding, and regretting wasted time, why don’t you get up now and do something magnificent with the remaining left.

Life is too short to be lived trying to please other people or becoming an ‘approval addict’ get up, the world needs you because you’ve got something nobody else has.

Life is just too short for you not to shine a torch on that dream, give it a shot; you never know… one with God is majority.

Life is too short for you to be looking down on yourself with low self esteem, insecurity, inferiority complex, you are unique and there is only one you!

Life is too short for you not to settle that score now, why don’t you create a room for that brother, sister, relation, parent, spouse or even your child, I promise you it’d be the best decision you’ve ever made.

 Life is too short for you not to recognize who real friends are; laugh, hug it out, make impact and best of all be a light to your world.

Life is too short for you not to be the best husband; tell her how much you love her, be the strong pillar she wants you to be and most of all be the man who knows Jesus.

Life is too short for you not to be the cool dad, we all want cool dad’s, I’m going to be a cool dad someday, be a pal who the kids can run up to anytime and any day and point them to Jesus.

Life is too short for you not to be a great mom, who understands the home better than anyone, a mom who knows everybody’s forte, a mom who knows Jesus and can stand in gap for the home, a mom who’s got a big heart to love.

Life is too short for you not to be a blessing to somebody, no matter how small- a prayer will suffice, be a blessing to somebody.

Life is too short for you not to be the best! It’s in you; all you’ve got to do is reach out for it and believe in yourself.

Life is too short for you not to have Jesus in your life; heaven is too real to be missed it’s the best place anyone will want to be. Jesus is the best thing that has happened to me and I want you to also experience it.
Just say this prayer:
Dear Lord Come into my heart, I accept you today, I need you to come take the center stage in my life, forgive me all of my sins, come be the Lord over my life. I receive grace to serve you in spirit and in truth in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Congratulations if you said that prayer sincerely I bet you heaven is rejoicing, welcome to the family!

THE CHURCH

THE CHURCH     The Church in this context is not where you go to worship on weekdays and Sundays. I trust you’ve been having a purpose-filled week? God’s been faithful & I prayed for you by the way. The thought of the Church today just makes me weep in my heart- I just can’t explain it, but a lot of us, I mean- a lot, have missed the real deal. Paul writing in one of his epistles in Corinthians said; “we ourselves are letters of recommendation to be read by the world… this ‘letter’ is written not with pen and ink… it is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human heart”. You and I make up the Church which means we are the Church. Without you and I there will be no Church, the place we go to worship is only a building; we are God’s temple meaning we carry Jesus in us and everywhere we step in- Jesus also comes on the scene. REFLECTION

Have you ever had time to interact with a person inundated in sin? There is just one thing you will find out; which is how myopic (short-sighted) their hearts are… they have no clue what life is like on the sin-free zone. I decided to write this today not because my life is a 100 but because there is a need for everyone pressing for that crown of glory to always keep in mind that heaven is real! Jesus is coming soon! My lovely sister Morenike sent me a broadcast today talking about today’s youth and how we claim to love God but clearly put Him aside to do our ‘stuff’ and pick Him up again when we need Him. Jesus is not an option He is a necessity. You literally need God to get by every day, God is love. His rain falls on both the just and the unjust, His arms are open for you to come in anytime, my friend, I find it hard to picture a life without God; there is absolutely no point living.
